2024 Bledisloe Cup - New Zealand 33-13 Australia - 28/09/2024

A series of photos from the second Bledisloe Cup clash between the All Blacks and Australia in Wellington.

The All Blacks ended their Wellington hoodoo in emphatic fashion against Australia to banish a losing streak that had lasted back to 2018 and send departing veterans Sam Cane and TJ Perenara out on a high as they depart to Japan.

The 33-13 win at a sold-out Sky Stadium in the second Bledisloe Cup test was the All Blacks’ first victory in the New Zealand capital since 2018. The Wallabies started quickly and were rewarded when Fraser McReight had given the Wallabies a shock early lead inside the first ten minutes before Sevu Reece and Will Jordan both raced through the Wallabies defence to score emphatic tries and ease fears the cake tin curse would strike again.

Caleb Clarke then scored the first of his two tries before the first half ended to all but end the contest with all All Blacks going into half time at 19-13. After the break the All Blacks continued to dominate and Taimati Williams forced his way over before Caleb Clarke but the gloss on an emphatic and memorable night in the capital for the All Black's on the occasion of Sam Cane's 100th appearance for the All Black's and TJ Perenara's final game for the All Blacks before departing for Japan.
